What it looked like when I got to the job. Yeah......it was a mess.

This was a budget re-tile in an apartment. My job was to make it as good as possible on a VERY tight budget. Not a beauty, but it came out really good all things considered

New tile floor in place of linoleum. I also remodeled this entire bathroom & laundry room.

Another bathroom in same house.

This was formerly a fiberglass bathtub. I converted it to a tile shower with fiberglass pan.

Notice the drain location. This pan was specially order so we would not have to move the drain much.

This was a valve replacement. Normally I would have just gone in from the back, but there was a marble walled shower directly opposite. So since we could not match the tile, I used a contrasting tile for the patch and tried to keep it symmetrical. Another option would have been to use a Stainless Steel repair plate, but the homeowner did not want that and in this instance it probably wouldn't have worked, since as you'll see in the next picture, I had to raise the height of the valve to allow room for the switch to a single handle valve.

Notice how I plumbed the outlet for the hand-held shower. The old set-up the hose was attached to an outlet on the bottom of the tub spout. This set-up was much cleaner.
